Philadelphia at Arizona

Scouts Inc.: This NFC Championship Game is a rematch from Thanksgiving, when the Eagles dominated 48-20. However, a lot has change between these former NFC East rivals. Both teams are led by veteran quarterbacks in Kurt Warner and Donovan McNabb, who are playing at very high levels. The Cardinals have one of the most explosive passing games in the NFL, but the Eagles have one of the best secondaries. Plus, both teams are playing with nothing to lose because no one expected them to make it this far. Will WR Anquan Boldin be able to play? Can Brian Westbrook get going this week against a fast and aggressive defense that has been impressive in the postseason under Clancy Pendergast? Will the Eagles be able handle the 12th man in Arizona.
Scouts Inc.: If you have any passion for a physical, hard-nosed rivalry, this is the game for you. The two head coaches -- Mike Tomlin in Pittsburgh and John Harbaugh in Baltimore -- are still rather young, but have combined for 36 wins, including three playoff victories. The Steelers won both games between these two, but by a combined margin of only seven points. Last week, Pittsburgh handled the Chargers effectively in all phases. San Diego ran just one offensive play in the third quarter, possessing the ball for 17 seconds, and turned the ball over twice in that frame as Pittsburgh pulled away. Meanwhile, Tennessee racked up 256 first-half yards but committed far too many costly turnovers deep in Baltimore's territory and made it too easy for the Ravens to advance.

Philadelphia at NY Giants

1:00 PM ET, January 11, 2009
Scouts Inc.: This should be a classic NFC East matchup between two teams that simply don't like each other. The Eagles have been one the hottest teams in the NFL, and the Giants are the defending Super Bowl champs. Are the Eagles getting hot at the right time, as the Giants did last year? In earlier matchups this season, both teams won on the road. Both defensive coordinators -- Jim Johnson (Eagles) and Steve Spagnuolo (Giants) -- will be aggressive and creative in their designs. The Giants will continue to rely on their running game to set up the play-action attack for QB Eli Manning, while Eagles offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg will emphasize the short, quick passing game to set up the run. Plus, the kicking game will be critical to the outcome.

San Diego at Pittsburgh

Scouts Inc.: Although they did not finish the regular season against top-notch competition, the Chargers have been playing true must-win games for over a month. Both of these teams are very hot and finished the season incredibly strong, but the week of rest came at a great time for Pittsburgh. QBs Ben Roethlisberger and Philip Rivers were fellow first-round draft picks in the same class, and both should be considered successes. Roethlisberger recently set the NFL record for most wins in a quarterback's first five seasons in the league, while Rivers statistically blew Roethlisberger away this season and has come a long way in a short time. The Steelers were 6-2 at Heinz Field this season, so this could be a difficult road trip, and weather is expected to be an issue. In Week 11, the Steelers edged San Diego 11-10 in a game that went down to the wire, but Pittsburgh outgained the Chargers nearly 2-to-1. This one might be similar to the first.
